Issue 13 – September 2007

This issue includes an overview of the role of central sensitization in chronic pain and part 4 of the series on drugs for neuropathic pain – a discussion on topical agents. Also in this issue, a clinical case of Tolosa-Hunt syndrome is presented along with the Q&A on the role of cognitive behavioural therapy in treating neuropathic pain conditions.

Issue 12 – May 2007

In this issue, updates of the MPNP’s recommendations on diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia and trigeminal neuralgia are presented. We also present part 3 of the series on drugs for neuropathic pain, which discusses opioids, and an interesting case on a patient developing neuropathic pain following a traffic accident.
